We Knew NHA was the Right Place

Before coming to NHA my son was having horrible behavior problems at his school. With his poor communication skills we were unsure of what he was trying to tell us. From the moment we stepped foot into NHA and spoke with the staff we knew this was the right place for our son. He has had a very positive experience with everyone at NHA… and has had ZERO behaviors since day one!! We couldn’t be happier with how he is doing. Thank you!

There Should be More Schools Like NHA

Our son really struggled in the public school setting, a place where he was expected to conform with typical kids when he was not. Moving him to NHA was the best thing we could have done for him. He has gone from hating school to loving it. We have seen him grow, become more confident in himself and be proud of the work he has done. The small classroom setting has been a huge benefit for him and working with two teachers instead of eight or nine has been awesome. These teachers really get to know your child and what they are capable of. Getting all the positive feedback from them has really boosted our son’s confidence. There should be more schools like NHA. I am so thankful that my son gets to attend there!

Nothing is Better Than Hearing Your Child’s Voice

We are so pleased with the progress our son has made in just six short months. We have noticed many changes in him. He is now able to use words instead of relying solely on sign language and grunting. He can identify words and is doing a wonderful job communicating with us. He was never remotely interested in potty training and now goes 100% at school and 50% at home. We can honestly say there is nothing better than hearing your child’s voice form words when verbalization was basically nonexistent before. We are so happy he is able to learn and thrive in his classroom.

Moving here so that my son could attend New Horizons Academy was the best decision I could have made. His progress has exceeded my expectations. He has learned to try more and to communicate his needs and has blossomed from the praise and encouragement. Overall I have a first grader who is happy and progressing. What more could a parent ask for? Thank you for all that you do!

My Daughter can Read… and More!

My daughter can read! My daughter can add! My daughter can count! My daughter can spell… and write her name! My daughter goes potty… no more pull-ups! I am so thankful for all that you have done for her! I could never imagine that she would be capable of doing the things she now does. We love Sara’s Garden and New Horizons Academy. You guys and gals are just the most wonderful people and teachers that there is. Please keep doing what you do!

Our Son is Prospering into a Young Man

Our son has improved so much since attending NHA. His ability to read, write and express his artistic talents have expanded beyond words. He now loves school and looks forward to attending every day. The friendships and respect for adults and peers has grown thanks friendship and respect he receives from the people at school. We love to see him prospering into a young man and we owe so much of this to NHA. The school has giving him, and others alike, an opportunity for a higher quality of education and a place of comfort. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! My son is a different child since starting at NHA. He is more centered. He’s happy. He’s learning. He has friends!! He was struggling with being able to write his first name when he started at NHA. In seven months he has mastered not only his first name but is last name also. The staff at NHA is so loving and patient. The school is working! Thank you Sara’s Garden and New Horizons Academy for giving my son this opportunity to really belong, learn and succeed!
