LET’S CELEBRATE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AWARENESS MONTH TOGETHER!
March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and we have several ways for you to support it.
- Please show your support by hanging an orange ribbon or bow on our door, car, mailbox or somewhere in your home or place of business during the month of March.
- Wear ORANGE on THURSDAY, MARCH 12, and post a picture on your personal or business social media pages.
- Attend our New Horizons Academy Handcrafted Hope Gallery & Sale.
Mark your calendars for our 3rd annual NHA Handcrafted Hope Sale! Our New Horizons Academy junior and senior high students have been working hard on items that have expressed their creativity and abilities. There will be a few items for sale, art work displayed and other items that we will accept a free will donation.
With March being Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, we wanted an additional opportunity for our students to display their creative sides through our Handcrafted Hope Program’s art gallery and sale. All proceeds from the event go right back into the program to purchase more supplies and materials.
