2017 Designer Purse Reverse Recap

Thursday, June 8th was the 2nd Annual Designer Purse Reverse to benefit Sara’s Garden.

We would like to thank all of the volunteers, participants and partners that helped make this event such an amazing success. Nearly 400 people were in attendance with hopes of winning beautiful handbags from designers such as Coach, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Ralph Lauren and Dooney & Bourke. Over 30 amazing designer handbags were available to win throughout the night! We are so blessed by the turnout and continued support that everyone has shown for this event.

We are working on the date for next year’s event now so that everyone can make sure to save the date in their calendars now for another great time!

Friday, May 26th was the 6th Annual Sara’s Garden “Drive Fore Hope” Charity Golf Scramble.

We would like to thank all of the volunteers, participants and partners that helped make this event such an amazing success. The twenty eight teams that were on hand to play enjoyed a beautiful day at Ironwood Golf Course. We are so blessed by the turnout and continued support.

Next year’s “Drive Fore Hope” event will be held on Friday May 25, 2018. Make sure you save the date in your calendars now for another great time!

2017 American Legion Poker Run

Summer is just around the corner. Get ready to ride! The Morenci American Legion Riders Post #368 are hosting a poker run to benefit Sara’s Garden on Saturday, July 15, 2017. The ride will start at Sara’s Garden and end at the Morenci American Legion. Come out and spend the day on the open road with us!

Event Begins:	The Hope Center at Sara’s Garden, Wauseon, Ohio
Event Ends:	American Legion Post, Morenci, Michigan
Event Time:	Check-in at 10:30 a.m. Kickstands up at 12:00 p.m.

All proceeds from this event are being used to support the veteran’s service fund at Sara’s Garden. This fund provides scholarships for HBOT services to veterans returning from active service with Traumatic Brain Injuries and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Sara’s Garden is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is the only facility in the United States to offer Autism Intervention, Conductive Education, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration and Speech-Language Pathology services.

Have you ever played in a golf scramble and felt that your team had absolutely no chance of winning? Not here… not now!

At Sara’s Garden’s Drive Fore Hope every single team has a chance to win the top prizes… even if your team has no chance of finishing under par. After all teams have completed their round of 18 holes, we hold a raffle at the banquet following the event which ultimately determine the prize winners. Here’s how it works:

There will be 28 teams participating in the Drive Fore Hope.
The winning team with the lowest score will receive 28 raffle balls in the hopper for their team.
The second place team will receive 27 raffle balls in the hopper for their team… and so on.
Even the last place team will receive 1 raffle ball in the hopper for their team.
We will then draw for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place to determine who goes home with brand new clubs!
